DuraBilt Exteriors, Inc. is capable of removing and reinstalling any window. There are many ways to resolve leaky and drafty windows. One way we can is to ‘cut' in a new window, or change the size of any existing window. This is removing the existing siding and window, then installing a 'new construction' window, which comes equipped with flanges and are placed against a vapor barrier under your siding. Another, less expensive, option is a ‘replacement' window, this type is a vinyl window that goes in place of your existing sashes. How this works is, the old frames are left in place, and the sashes are removed, then replaced with an updated window. With this method, the old frames are usually covered with custom bent metal trim coil.
